WORK EXPERIENCE

June 1999 – Present:
Principal, Build America, Inc., Miami, Florida.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial and residential construction projects;

  • Administrate construction, budgets and create schedules, sitework and general construction;

  • Administrate sub-contractor construction contracts.
     

September 1997 – May 1999
Project Engineer, Corzo Castella Carballo Thompson Salman, P.A., Coral Gables, Florida.
Responsibilities:

  • Design sewer systems;

  • Design water service systems;

  • Prepare design reports for owner.

April 1997 – September 1997
Project Engineer, Digital Matrix Services, Inc. Miami, Florida.
Responsibilities:

  • Administered the coordination of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) consulting task and projects;

  • Provide Info Cad product line technical support to the engineering and surveying companies around the world;

  • Managed the developmental and implementation of an internet site (www.mampaster.com).

April 1996 – April 1997
Project Engineer, Ford Engineers, Inc. Miami, Florida.
Responsibilities:

  • Generated South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and Department of the Army Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) Applications, as well as, Dade County DERM General Permit Applications including: SFWMD flood routing, water quality, and drainage calculations; wetland delineation; and
    mitigation negotiation;

  • Design and drafting of: water, wastewater, lake excavation, paving, drainage, and grading plans for private residential and commercial projects.

September 1994- April 1996
Lab Technician, Southeast environmental research program, Miami, Florida.
Responsibilities:

  • Collected samples and operated field data instruments;

  • Operated and maintained analytical machinery, edited, and prepared reports for quality assurance / quality control personnel;

  • Supervised and trained undergraduate staff.
